Since 2020, we have opened our home to over 180 dogs, cats, and ducks. Now, we are maximizing our land to save even more.
For years, Pawla’s Pets has been a labor of love funded entirely out of our own pockets. We believe that every animal—especially the seniors, the fearful, and the "unadoptable"—deserves a dignified life.
Operating on 0.89 acres of dedicated farmland, we have proven that you don’t need vast plains to make a massive difference. We currently sustain 6–12 dogs comfortably, but with the right structural upgrades, our agricultural zoning allows us to house many more. Your support helps us transform this land into a high-efficiency sanctuary where every inch serves a life-saving purpose.
Small Footprint, Big Impact
Because we operate on a specialized .89-acre farm plot, our "Build" is about efficiency and safety.
We are seeking donations, supplies, and skilled labor for:
Smart Fencing & Security
Utilizing "Kennel Master" gates and reinforced perimeter fencing to create multiple, safe "zones" on our acreage. This allows dogs from different rescues to exercise without stress.
Electrical & Climate
Providing heated areas and secure lighting so our seniors and short-haired rescues stay warm and safe year-round.
Water & Healing
From hydro-therapy ponds to medical dog-wash stations, water is essential to nursing our rescues back to health.
Landscaping & Forage
Maximizing our land by planting native, pet-safe trees for shade and growing sustainable food for our resident sheep and ducks.
Lifetime Shelters
Durable, professional-grade kennels and storage-unit conversions to provide every resident a secure, private room within our farm setting.

We have been self-funding this mission for a long time, but to reach the next level, we need to finalize our official nonprofit status.
